However, at the beginning of the translation, Ahmed Efendi added two long introductions, one in Arabic and the other in Persian. Arabic words are first given their Persian equivalents and then their Turkish translations. The words are not given in alphabetical order but in a conceptual classification such as time, sky, earth, plants, etc.

  • Margins:
  • Although the density of the marginalia is high on some pages, it is generally low. There are headings such as fasl and bab in the margins. There are minhîyât records. There are remarks in the form of sahh, tı ayın, mim and numerals.
  • Some notes on the manuscript:
  • This manuscript was copied in 1715 by Fahreddin bin Şerefeddin, who was serving as a lecturer at the Muradiye Madrasa in Bursa at the time. The colophon indicates that the manuscript was copied directly from the original source.
Throughout its historical journey, the manuscript has been associated with several ownership records. The first recorded owner was Ahmed Ağazade el-Bağdadi. Later, it was acquired by Fehim Süleyman during his tenure as a lecturer at the Ali Paşa-yı Cedid Madrasa.
The journey of the manuscript, which began in Bursa, concluded when it was endowed by Hafız Ahmed Ağa to the library he established in Rhodes.
